Hello everyone,
Following the
thread that listed currently available truck and trailer kits, a suggestion to start a campaign on this subject arose (Thank you Cristian a.k.a

Proposed Campaign rules:

Updated: Campaign rules are
here.

Hopefully we could find at least 10 people who are interested

Hi,
Will get one ticket. I like all of military trucks with trailer and semi-trailer.
Cheers,

I would get in on this. I have the Hobby Boss M1070 and M1000 trailer. But I'd definitley have to have longer than 5 months, especially with the 750+ campaign coming up.

Sounds like something I would be into however I agree the time span should be longer. Unfortunately I was into truck and trailer last year. Now I am on to HEMTT LHS.

That's a valid question, Tat! This reminded me of the Modelcollect kits on the HEMTT and MAZ chassis.
By the way, Andrew, the logo looks great!

Proposed Campaign rules:
3) Builds from other campaigns are allowed
Would a truck or a jeep from another campaign, towing a anti tank gun or rocket launcher which would be built here be allowed?
If so I would be in and by the way the ribbon looks great to me

Michael, Dustin What time frame do you have in mind?
In my opinion, this should be at least 10 months. With most people building big kits such as the M1070/M1000 and also being in other big campaigns, 10 months would give them time I think. Most of your big trucks and trailers are going to be really big kits.

Yes! I will update the campaign rules.

Well, it does have a trailer, so definitely!

It's a borderline case, but I think it's a good idea, so Yes! I will also add trucks with towable artillery to the campaign rules.

Ten months sounds good to me!
No idea yet what I might be building.

Last year's work on a tractor trailer: Converted HobbyBoss White 666 semi-tractor, Resin PSP/Scale-Link 20-ton trailer and Mirror Models Caterpillar Bulldozer.

This sounds like a lot of fun! Will a tracked tow vehicle or half track be included? I'm thinking of one of those Soviet artillery tractors towing one of the huge tracked artillery pieces.

half track with towable artillery on wheels will be allowed, but no tracked artillery and tow vehicles. I'm afraid we have to draw the line somewhere and I'd like to keep this campaign free of full tracked vehicles. I'll update the rules accordingly.

I'm doing a Stryker/mortar carrier for the 750+, but I think with the time allotted, I can manage to build both.. so, if I may, I'd like to join with this MAZ 537G. I've had it in the stash for a long time, and this will be a good excuse to build it.

Thanks for this clarification, I'll look around for something else that just needs building . . .
You have sparked a lot of interest so I expect this will be a sure go.

I was thinking about building one of the later Modelcollect MAZ-based trucks in 1/72 scale. Would something like the
S-300 or the
Smerch qualify?
Thanks!
