Here is my start pic of Dragons 25PDR

I understand that the tyres are made of the much discussed Dragon Styrene

If anyone has any hints/tips or suggestions on how to best deal with it I am all ears.

Looks great, Jeff! Are the kit tires plastic or rubber?

A little progress on the G6. Most of the construction is done, and now it's on to painting and weathering!

Shawn that's an impressive looking kit. I haven't been able to find the one with the metal barrel (L3526C) where did you find it?

Thanks! I actually found the barrel on eBay, the one that comes in the kit was not very good at all.

Hi all,

I love me some big guns, and have enlisted in this campaign (my very first).

I've got a couple of guns on my shelf--the AFV Long Tom, or Testors M110 maybe? Hrm...

Anyways, I'll look on the shelf when I get home (and the surrounding piles) and plan my campaign.

I have always built tanks, and so this campaign was a great excuse for me to expand into some towed artillery (I haven't even built any SPH's yet). I picked up the Great Wall Hobby Krupp 12.8 cm PAK 44 High Velocity Anti-Tank Gun and found that it was a very quick build.

I had a small mishap when I originally glued the metal barrel in place - I didn't align the muzzle break properly. So now I need to make the repairs to the breach and then start the painting/weathering process.

Cool kit, Brian. I did not even know that kit existed. It will be interesting to follow. I have never build one of the amusing hobby kits before.

Timothy, the weathering is coming along nicely.

Here is my entry. Amusing Hobby Sturmorser 38D. She looks like a beauty.

Now to find some time. Hopefully Real life will politely allow me some free time

Just finished my Improvised Ingenuity campaign build. Ready to begin my next one. Nothing fancy this time. The Tamiya Wespe SPG.

Hey guys,

Lots of cool builds coming together here! Anyway, Ive started with my PLZ05:

Progress might be slow over the next few weeks as Ill be painting my T-72B for the Trumpeter campaign (I have no idea whatsoever how some of you manage to complete 15-20 campaigns a yeara goal to strive for, I guess .)

I tried four times yesterday to upload these 3 pictures-showing my progress over long weekend. In vain...as the log shows.
Lucky for me-I have a brilliant IT, who did it for me...

Note: the gun is borrowed from another project.

Got the paint sprayed today. It's going to represent the DAK. I'll wait a couple days for the paint to cure then I'll seal it add decals then start the weathering process.

Primed now with the main color I'll use, Vallejo Air Khaki Brown:

And a comparison shot of the 100mm next to the 155mm M198.

Paint tonight or tomorrow....
