Hi,

I've started a 1/48 Halberstadt Cl.IV with pilot and ground crew and other bits and pieces.

I will be doing this profile from Pheon's Halberstadt sheet......

I decided to redo the interior structure because the kit detail is a little soft........

I separated the ailerons from the wing........

I've finished up the fuselage interior bracing and added some shims and straightened up the wings and ailerons.................

Working on the foot guards for the control lines in the observers pit.

I liberated a pie pan from the refrigerator lol......

Just a little cutting and shaping......................

And viola..........

Is the half pipe so the observer doesn't step on the control rod/lines?

I`m going to follow your thread! I really like what you`ve done so far - scratch building the internal structure was a very good idea! Keep up the good work!

Still steadily working on my Halberstadt diorama, I've finished the wings using Aviattic lozenge, here's the top wing...........

I'll be using Aerobonus figures for the pilot and observer........................

Next to paint the figures so I can close up the fuselage...........

Hi Mark

Lovely work on the lozenge decals and the interior. I'm looking forward to seeing the figures finished.

All the best

Mark, good to see you back at the workbench. You're a real gangsta in this bussiness, I always enjoy watching your builds so you already have another spectator. I'll be also watching the Ansaldo builds.
