Last year was good for 1 to 1 building but not good for modelling. I will try and finish 2 Sherman III kits that I have partially built. the first one will be a Sherman of 41st RTR at El Alamein in 1942.

What slowed down my build last year was the photo etched sand shields with those open slots all along the fold lines. I am not a great fan of them!

Sorry for the bad pic. It is more a proof of me acctually doing something... Clear coat, decals and a wash have been added. I'm acctually seeing an end to this build.

Another long term shelf life testbed gets some bench time.
Wave's 1/20 Mak Gans 'Battlefrog' the leopard frog inspired paint job is my idea.

Erik, you Leopard 1A5NO looks awesome. Don't forget to upload a picture of the final build to the

Harald,
Another one (shelf queen) bites the dust.. soon, I hope.
Chipping on the rocket pods.
Paint and wash,

First layer of chips

Second chip layer

As it stands now, needs a filter to blend it all together still

@Erik: your leopard looks great! Can you tell me how you made the camo netting on the turret?
Cheers

I have the base coat of Tamiya XF-62 on. I lightened it a bit with yellow/green. Has anyone noticed XF-62 seems a bit greener now.
Next up is base coating the stowage.
Thank for looking Steve

I'm in on this campaign, Gary, but with what I don't know yet...

Welcome to the fun that never ends. In my case, the perennial non-finisher, it really doesn't. As the year progresses and more people miss campaign deadlines, we won't be alone!

Hello from the Shiny Side! So, I managed to get some more work dome on the Charger Build From Hell. My decal issue was resolved, and this is where the build stood on 26 FEB 16:

And here is where we are now:

The front & rear bumpers are just placed on for the photos, and are not secured yet. Despite some setbacks, the build is starting to come together. The latest setback is the rear view mirror shot across the room, and I cannot find it. No idea where it might be. I minor setback, but I'm sure something will pan out (or I'll find the part). So, onward with the build!

Looking good Jim,
I remember seeing the decal woes you had before.
Now all you need is 'Florida Man' to put in cuffs in the backseat..
