I recently acquired a kit for a U26C, a narrow-gauge GE locomotive exported to Brazil, New Zealand, South Africa, & Zambia with the intention of either converting it into a standard-gauge U25C, or (unprototypically) adding it to my Sn42 NfLD line, even though the NfLD did not truly operate U26C's

Obviously, to create a U25C, the wheels of the HO body used to power this S-scale model would need to be re-gauged, and detail parts, such as fan-guards would need to be added, but, with those modifications, this conversion SHOULD be possible, correct???
