Yes you're dead right about the cuff titles. In fact there are several, ranging from a semi-official SS-Kriegsberichter-Kp early one, with the title in Gothic script, through SS-KB-Abt and SS-Kriegsberichter through to the final Kurt Eggers ones in Bevo. They are all pictured in Mollo's book and I should have included them. I doubt if anyone does any decals of them, but in 1/35th they probably wouldn't be readable anyway.

Steve, if I am not mistaken,there is also an ss title with 'SS Kriegsberichter' on it. It is in Angolias Cloth Insignia of the SS. I have the book around here somewhere I just have to dig it out if anyone needs more info. It is a excellent reference on SS insignia.

German war photographers would have worn the rank insignia of their respective grade in the usual way. As to what Waffenfarbe they wore, as far as I can tell, it would seem be the same as the unit they were attached to. However members of "Propogandakompanie" wore special insignia, light grey Waffenfarbe ("Hellgrau") and a special "Propogandakompanie" cuffband in silver and black on the lower right cuff. This information comes from "German Army Uniform and Insignia 1933-1945 by B.L.Davis.
So much for Heer photographers, those attached to the Waffen SS were slightly different. The SS formed a special war correspondents unit which eventually reached regimental ("standarte") size. It was called "Kurt Eggers" after a correspondent killed in action. They began with white waffenfarbe like the infantry, but adopted lemon yellow like the signals. When attached to field units they were allowed to wear the cuff title of the unit they were attached to, so there are photographs of correspondents (Kriegsberichter) wearing two cufftitles, i.e. the unit one and their own "Kurt Eggers" one. Wear of two cufftitles simultaneously was eventually outlawed by the SS high command. I am working on a 1/35 scale vignette the deals with a World War II German photographer taking photos of German officers.
So my question to all of you is this, is there any thing out there online that would show me what's the rank insignias of German photographers looks like?
Were they part of the Infantry or something completely different?
I assume that they are the part of the Infantry but I'm not totally positive.
If anyone can help me find any information and or photographs of their uniforms that would be greatly appreciate it.
