This is a Scania 142h tractor with trailer. Try trailer is modified from an Italeri container kit. The bed was scratchbuilt. The tractor chassi was slightly stretched to accommodate the trailer. Some of the the extra details were modified from other kits and/or scratchbuilt. The boom cradle was scratchbuilt from balsa wood. The boom itself, is actually a childs toy I dismantled and heavily modified with scratchbuilt parts.
I do not own an airbrush, so all my models are done with a spray can.

So these are just pictures of a real truck.

Isn't there supposed to be a model in the pictures?

Great work Charles, I also thought that it was a real truck until I saw the wood grain in the third picture. Simply outstanding.

Charles,
I also thought the same that somehow you photographed the real truck, then using Photoshop or another editing program, just combined those pictures with that wooden base.

You work is beyond words, both in detailing and weathering. Truly an exceptional model.

Alright Andy. How large do you want them? The ones in thread are around 1025x768, if I'm not mistaken.

Charles,
How about doing an article or two on how you achieve your incredible weathering effects? You managed to fool everyone here at 1st glance.

Even the inside of the bucket looks so real it's not even funny.

We could all benefit from your expertise.

Absolutely stunning! Even the color of wooden cribbing material is perfect and the saw marks are perfectly scaled. I bow down to the master.

Edit: Do you have any pictures taken during construction?

Hi,
1200x800 please, and a little text for the feature if you would be so kind.
I am totally with Joel on you writing an "how too" on your weathering techniques, it would be fascinating and a excellent tutorial on the subject.
