Hi all.
As in the tittle above; is this a MACK?

I'm doing some research for the photo.
Situ is Iran, late '80 - early '90 I guess.
What you see is the carcass of probably a F-4D Phantom II on a flatbed bed trailer. I'm not an expert on American build trucks, as I doubt it's a MACK, or maybe an International?
Looking for type of the truck and 1/25 scale kit manufacturing company. I know ERTL made a lot MACK kits, but my bank manager will kill me seeing the prices.
Recommendations for a more budget price are very welcome she said.
Thanks in advance.

Robert, it looks like a Mack 685, but with a deeper cab than the AMT kit.

Yes, that is definitely a Mack R600. The tires on the AMT kit are smaller than the ones on the Mack in your photo, and (typical with AMT) the square fuel tanks & spoke wheels shown on the box are not actually in the box.

It builds up quite nicely:

You'll want to shorten the frame, though.

Thanks Damian. Found the kit at BNA. I was in doubt the cabin. At first I was looking at the DM600. My goodness what a pricing for those vintage ERTL boxings. Is MPC any good, think they do re-boxing / replicas?. Same truck pictures on the box art.
Cheers.

Hi Jim.
I can get a reasonable pricing for the ERTL Blue Replica boxing. Is it the same issue with those fuel tanks like AMT? Another offering is MPC. Level 3 kit that goes for less than USD 40.00.
Any advise?

Robert, whether is Ertl, AMT, or MPC, it's all the same kit. The older kits have the spoke wheels, square tanks, and the mirrors that are on my kit. I think the most recent reissue of the kit had the square tanks. Alternatively, you can use resin parts, although shipping to Thailand could get expensive. My kit was the 2010 reissue, and I'm pretty sure it didn't have the square tanks. The 6-spoke Mack wheels on my model are from Plaskit out of Canada.

You're probably going to want something like this from AITM:
