I am in the process of ordering paint for the SLA APC by MiniArt - and I have trouble with the blue. The AK Interactive SLA blue looks really dark and grayish compared to all the blue colors I see on the photos/pictures.
Would lightening it with AK's sky blue work? Or some other light blue? It is quite hard to get a historical color right, and in this case there is very little reference available. Any help is appreciated.

Ak Interactive lists AK794 SLA Blue in its range. I'm planning to use this color for SLA Tiran.

Yes, this is the paint I was asking about. It looks too dark online compared to the light blue tone of the vehicles I see on photos and illustrations.

The reason why the paint looks darker than the color you see in pics is that some of the pics vehicls you see are in bone yards where the sun has faded the paint

Pretty sure that there isn't such a thing as 'correct' SLA Blue. Check this image from 1977. At least two distinct shades. (This is the Free Lebanon Army that became SLA in 1980).

Thank you. I will just go then with the blue I like
(I like these options. The correct dunkelgelb debate really tired me out.)
