By the way Eamran, as Zaidi mentioned, I'm into cars as well but currently I've slowed down due to other projects (modeling as well) that needs more priority that I don't have the time to build my own.

Haha!.. There's Imran & Eamran. Both love cars.. Right now I'm still waiting for HLJ to process my stuff. I'm doing diorama for the 1st time.. weeeee... But nowadays, HLJ are getting slower & slower in processing the items.. I dont know why.. Just have to be patient then. LOL

Its even better to know you have interests in figures as well. Besides myself there's HauntedTank (Patrick), Floogen (Alan) and YongA01 (Allan) who do a fair bit of figures. Do share with us some of your work.

As far as Vietnam war figures go there's only myself and Masterqq (Thomas) who has interest in this era.

Good to know that I am not alone in what I thought is a "lonely" universe of figure modelling - you know, sitting alone quietly for hours on end dabbling with a few pieces of plastic. I hope I am able to post some pics of my finished figures (if any) for comments, pointers, criticism, etc. etc. from you & fellow figure modellers.

I think I have read a few of your feature articles in armorama on modelling techniques for dio. in tropical setting (good for Vietnam). Am I right here? Very good articles.

Well this what I can say it also my frist time at Armorama Forums. Well to my understanding that you are working in a hotel....and may I know which one??? as for me I'm also a hotelier and have been modeller for 15 years now (serious modeller only 2 years).

Knowing working in a hotel at times you don't have time for it and on top of that with wife and children in where you have spent time with them too.

I was wondering how do you givre time for your family and models???

Hi Kenny, sorry for the late reply. Currently I'm working in Grand Paragon Hotel Johor Bahru but at the moment counting the days until my last working day here until early October as I've been offered to be a part of another hotel pre-opening team ( I've been in the hospitality industry + 15 years & the new hotel will be my 4th pre-opening hotels ).

U'r 2nd question is a bit hard as I will spend about 2 hours of modelling if i have the time after dinner or during my offdays but with 2 young boys, most of my time is spent with my family ( this is because my wife is sitting next to me ). Pandai 2 la how to adjust because family is important.

At the moment, i consider myself as a builder ( I build but never paint ), but with the ever supportive county neighbour; Skudai area that is; Silantra, someday I will use the airbrush & compressor that I've put on display.

Hi. Im new to models. Assembled my 1st model, a 1:72 Mig-3. I only have basic equipments, some glue, some paint, a few paint brush. My first model came out abit patchy but i guess I can slowly learn.
