Hi all,

just thouhgt I'd post a few pics of my Maeder2.

I'm about 80% done.
Still have to add the tools and stowage and finish
painting the figures.

Looks great so far However I think the drive sprockets go up front and the idler wheels go in back Other than that a great job on that old kit

Good job, but I'd make tracks some more rusty, and maybe you should think about (more) mud or snow on the tracks, because they're still a bit clean.

But next to that, your Marder looks great with a nice winter camouflage and good weathering! The figures are fine too! Don't need to do to much to them I think, I like them already!

The tank, the figures and the ruine are great.

But the walls you made, the sides of it are to flat you have to break it a little more.
(especially the piece of wall on the ground.)

I really like it overall, but I am really impressed with how natural the figures look posed as they are. I mean they really convey action and add to the scene. Great job!

Are you entering the marder only? Because you cant enter the whole diorama. Excellent job by the way.

Looks really good, you have done a good job with the partial snow covering.. The snow suits look good, but the helmets stand out a bit, they look to 'plasticy' to me..try giving them a coat of diluted matt white, to break then up a bit. Other than that ( and the sprocket and idler... ) It looks good.
Both the Marder on it's own and the dio as a whole.
I believe it's o.k. to show an entry for a campaign on a dio, even if the dio is not part of the entry. I hope so as that's what I did with my Tank Terror entry.....

Hi guys,

thanks for the comments and feedback.

Sprocket and idler fixed now (Oops!!!)

The helmuts still need painting, as well as some rust and weathering on the tracks (still a base coat of chocolate brown at the moment).

The brick work and rubble still need work, but since the Marder is my campaign entry, I'm concentrating more on that.

The Marder is my entry, I'm just using the dio to help
me get an authentic look for it. I hope thats ok?

Marevic, Doing a great job on the whole set up..One small tidbit..When you post shots of your entry for the Age campaign..please make sure to submit photos of the Marder only..without the base and figs..or the figs only..Thankyou!
