Indeed Comrades it has been a slow one for me too. But we move on so how about a toast in the spirit of Stolichnaya.

Comrades,....

Mother Russia is not proud on me.. I went on patrol with my KV1b and we encountered some enemy forces. And to make a long story short......we lost

My KV was shot and the engine started to burn so we needed to escape. Fortunately support troops came to save us so we are all safe now at the moment.

I'm sorry that I let you down comrades because I'm building a destroyed KV1b from the Tamiyaski manufactury. As soon as the build is done I will make some photo's.

Hello,

Would it be okay to join this campaign late? I bought a couple of kits for it when it was announced. I had to cut back on my building due to a family situation, and I decided to focus on finishing the Up Front campaign.

I still have time to finish at least one decent model for this. I bought a MIR, a Foxbat, and a KV-1C for this. I started cleaning up the parts forthe KV-1c last night. It looks like a fun little project. I will probably go with the Green.browncamo with the black cheatlines. (Although if time is short, there are some all green ones too) It is the 1/72 scale PST kit.

Sure, why not Dave. Just jump right in! Only requirements are just build a Soviet/Russian vehicle and be done with it by 9 May.

As for time zones, I'm thinking Moscow time, 12 midnight, 9 May 2005. Or respective members' May 9.

Well comrades I am ready to join the fight against the capitalist running dogs with my T-34/76 model 1943 Guards Tank. This glorious tank has just Left Moscow and is head to the front to fight the fascisiti. STAVKA and Krasna Zvesda have graciously allowed me to take a photograph, (which I'll put in another post).

Until Later Comrades.... I need to take a break from tracked vehicles!!!!

comrades !

started this week, i have ordered the factory to work extra time to finish the T34/85 UTZ. As mentioned before, we need to show the capitalist that we are capable to produce our tank faster then them. The whole week, i 've been monitoring the progress work on the T34. Extra working time and less lesuire time is imposed in the factory. This is the photos of the progress work:
http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=48923&page=1

as i wrote this, the decal process have completed and the T34 will be on weathering process any sonner. The tracks have been installed. Let show the capitalist how fast we are comrade.

Sorry comrades for my absence. It has a pleasure seeing many have crossed the Rhine - er - finish line with their finished projects. The Rodina salutes your success!

I for one haven't touched my BRDM-2 for weeks already. Been busy, plus I was gone to do some sight seeing with big guns and big mortars on a nice nearby island.

I promise to do restart my BRDM-2 tomorrow.

As for everyone - great job, good luck, and see you in Paris where we will drink vodka, eat caviar, and toast the Rodina!

I made the final assembly this morning on my BA-3 armoured car. Only need to make a few touch up's here and there and maybe a little more weathering.

I already PMd/emailed Staff_Jim and Guntruck before (months ago) about the Campaign Gallery. However, I didn't follow it up because I was just simply too busy.

Which state of being "too busy" is the reason that I announce my FORMAL WITHDRAWAL from this campaign.

Yes. Stupid isn't it? Ze Campaign Manager, withdrawz from his own campaign. HA!

Seriously, yes, I have been too busy with more pressing matters, not to mention that the last time I touched my entry (last week), I accidentally had the knife stab the palm of my right hand which practically incapacitated me from holding a knife or any other tool to make the model - or even write (I am not ambidextrous). The wound was really small, but sorta deep, and it was difficult to clench my hand into a fist - let alone grip something.

So, I'm out of the campaign. However, I will continue to manage it until its end. There will be no extension (May 9, your local time).

I'll PM/email Staff_Jim and Guntruck for the Campaign Gallery. I'll also have the ribbon uploaded soon.

For all those who've finished their entries, congratulations and good work.

Hoping to see the parade.

Comrad Komissar!

We will fight until the last man, even without you!
For the Rodina!

I had made the final details of the great nuclear submarine Kurks and primed it last night!
I will not update any photos until it's ready to sail, security reasons!
