Never-the-less NATO counter measures have proved ineffectual and the relentless vangaurd of Soviet might continues into next week.

thank you for your encouragement and resolve.Once again despite the many ploys and devious machinations of the capitalist oppressors the tide of fortune turns.
The arrival of the Model Point barrel( a thing of beauty in it's own right) has enabled me to finish the mantlet and stock. Although building the infra-red/search light supports from PE proved time consuming and fustrating in equal measure.Never-the-less the turret is close to painting with tie-downs,grenade launchers,open hatch,anti tank missile and other small details glued in place.
The lower hull has been washed and drybrushed ready for the tracks. The tracks themselves are individual links.......
But guess what?
Yes thats right, each one has a mould cast right in the centre of the inside face.
I reckoned that one frets worth will be hidden from view by the skirt armour which leaves only one fret to clean up,only 80 individual links to go. I suspect that the tracks are going to be very dirty!
I hope to get some progress photos on view at the weekend,

After bearing the full brunt of a week long imperialist incursion,the favouriate ploy of massive and concentrated fire power routed the adventurers.
(As the invaders paused for breath our Spetsnaz agents were able to apply base coat,wash and dry brush the track links.)
Subsequent victory celebrations have seen the finishing touches to the turret and an under coat of chaos black sprayed on.
The track links have proved less daunting than I feared and are a really good fit which has allowed one side to be completed in an evening.
When the remaining tracks are completed I hope to post some more red crosses.
