I now officially declare Up Front over! I would like to thank all of you who participated, from the bottom of my heart. To tell the truth, I never honestly thought that this would materialize. However, you proved me wrong, and thank you! I would also like to thank one person in particular, and that person is Bill Mauldin . Had it not been for him, Willie, and Joe, this never even would have been a possibility. This is what this campaign was for: For Bill. I wanted to create a way to honor what he did for the American troops all the world over. This one's for you, Bill.

MEBM - I'd like to thank you for bringing this campaign together. It was a blast to get inspiration from all the cartoons. This was a unique campaign and a joy to do. My entry was simple and straight forward and I did some new things (sculpting scratch figures and a plaster scratch base) and had a great time seeing other join in too.

THanks for running this campaign. I had a great time with it, even though I normally build small scale without figures. If anything, I learned that I don't know how to paint figures. I chose a scene with 7 figures in it. I think the 7th figure looks a lot better than the first, so I guess I learned a lot from the build. I will have the pictures done within a couple days. (as soon as I can borrow the camera)

I have one question. How can I link back to the campaign to finish my entry? it is gone from the campaign list.
