Well, I went to paint my S-tank and I had a lake in my basement. This one was pretty serious, about 200+ gallons of water got in. I am trying to patch the hole now.

Anyhow, unless I can beg for a extension I am out of it. SOrry to ask, but I just have no options otherwise until this latest disaster is fixed.

I am getting good at mortar work though... :-)

Can't help you with an extension but sounds like you have your very own Dive Dive Dive Campaign

Oh you guys are hilarious!

At least it is all cleaned up now, and I have the hole plugged. Only time will tell if it will hold, but at least I started. And no models ended up being damaged..whew!

As for DDD, I already have two entries for it. And if things go well, I should have the S-tank done in a week. Unless rain next monday proves all my work for naught!

Oh, and I hit my 1000th post with the above post, wow. Never thought I would get here.

Ok, probably I'm going to be hated for this, but I will allow 1 weeks extension on the campaign, since I know that you aren't the only one that has been in trouble and haven't been able to spend as much time modelling as wanted.

No, you're not going to be hated (at least not by me)! On the contrary! I got the canopy for my S31 Spitfire in the mail today. Given the extra week, I might be able to finish all four of my Swedish airplanes (not only the J26).

Nobodys going to hate you ... thats a strong word .. but ..... :-) :-) :-) :-)

Ive actually being working on my S-tank every evening this last week to get it finsihed for tonight... but will be well glad to have the extra week for adding little touches. Its starting to look the part.

Anybody see paint lifting from their S-tank tracks. Looks like they have a bit of the Italeri syndrome. No problems noticed with acrylic airbrushing, but when I drybrushed humbrol metallics and washed, I see small flakes lifting. Hopefully this doesnt get any worse.

Thank you Thomas...
I got this terrible "colds" for two days now and haven't touch my S-tank.
It's really a good call and a perfect break for me.

Hey, thanks for the big help. I will try to not disappoint. Just waiting for the carpet and rugs to dry out.

Glad to hear that I wasn't the only one with problems. My Italeri Gripen took long time getting here and my work scheduel has been tight so I really needed the extension myself.

Only bad thing is that I tried to rush build to be able to finish in time so the quality isn't the best...
