Here are the final candidates. The ribbon on the left would be for all enlistees that complete an entry. The right medal would be for the best model. Any comments or concerns, pipe in. Thanks for all the suggestions. All the other original idea on medal are in my gallery. Let me know if you want a change.

Looks good to me.
For our Jewish/ Israeli friends, I'd add the red star of David too... unless you're at the max of your pixels, off course.

I thought about it, even tried it with the oversight of a friend of mine who is a graphics design major. But, it is not so much maxing out pixils. It was fitting it in. Given the size of the ribbon, and the nature of the Star Of David, painting it in, would look like a six-point blob, if that at all. The image below is actual size, so imagine 3 symbols fit in with still containing the asthetic value.
The Red Cross and Red Crescent are the most well known symbols of help and at the request of Graywolf, I added the crescent to combine Western culture with Eastern culture (generally speaking).

That's what I meant with being at a pixel max lol.. I know it's hard to fit in what you want when you're severely limited on the amount of horizontal and vertical pixels.
I like it as it is though.

They look good. Now I have a model and have signed up for this. Where do I post the pics of the finished kit? Or do I send it to someone?

once the campaign is under way a specific gallery will be set up so that pics of completed models can be uploaded to it.
