Hi everyone. I have finally finished my Centurion. I have built the Tamiya kit and have finished it as "A Squadron, 8th Kings's Royal Irish Hussars, 29th Infantry Brigade, Korea, 1951." As usual all comments are welcome. Here are some pics.

I had a lot of fun with this campaign. Cheers Kevin

Engin, Rudi, and Joe I am glad you like it. It had a few things about the kit that werent just right but all in all a good kit. As for the base. I am glad it is being well received as well. I just didnt have time to make an elaborate base and this seems to show the model off well. Thanks again I had fun with this campaign. Cheers Kevin

nice looking model kevin,

the base is more effective than you probably realise for a centurion-they were renowned in korea for their unmatchable hill climbing ability(much to the jelousy of US crews)

one thing i noticed, the triangular decal on the side skirt bridges the gap, just run a knife down the middle to seperate it

regards

joe

I would have to agree with everyone that your base is amazing and gives a great composition to your model. The diagonal slant really gives the model an interesting element to it. To me, i think this base really sets the tank off and i think its great for a little dio. great work!

Looks good mate. A fitting tribute to the best MBT ever. That angle on the base really sets of the vehicle, just shows that K.I.S.S. applies to modelling as well!

Kevin -

As with everything I've seen from you, this is very effective and well done. I really like the simple yet dramatic execution. Beautiful looking Centurion. Great job.

Well ok leave the tricks and show the rest of the dio hahahaahahahaha. Absolutely nice and minimal build. We need these for a change. I like it a LOT , THE WEATHERING IS JUST THE NEEDED AMOUNT AND THE TANK ITSELF LOOKS SUPER . bRAVO bRO . Nice one

Kudos. Very nice weathering, and an unusual base to boot. Makes me wonder why a new Cent always ranks near the top of everyone's want list. You make that old kit shine.

Hi guys, I am really glad you are liking it. Andreas, go ahead and use the base. I got the idea from looking at pics of german halftracks popping over hills. I think I will do one of those to they look pretty cool. Cheers Kevin
