VIIC - first painting steps

Hi all,

I've done my first painting on the VIIC. I started pre-shading (my first attempt in this technique) and after that I painted the lower hull.





Next steps are the upper hull, then the deck, then the tower and the tower deck/interior and then exterior details + weathering. I think I can make it in time!

I'm glad you are trying this on your big VIIC, because I was thinking of doing it with mine. I'm really looking forward in seeing how this turns out. Hey, did the future stuff work for de-fuzzing the wires?

e-mail me a larger version of this photo, I'd like to get a better look at it if that's ok.

What the heck happened to Skip? The expo too much for him and he's on vacation?

oh..and everything cool with you?

Don't know what happend with Rui, haven't seen him for a while. I'm still alive here, although not feeling to good. I'll tell ya about it in the email. And you? The tornados still didn't blow you away? (let's keep it that way)
