At 01.16 this morning (GMT+1) she was done... Still a bit wet, but that's because the crew just finnished some painting.
This is the Artitec 1:350 (way too small!!) scale resin model of the Dutch sub S805 Hr.Ms. "Tonijn" (Tunafish).
It was rather fun to build.
My only dissapointment: the "decals" with came with the kit just sucked; rub-off numbers that refused to be rubbed off. (Actually, there where also rub-off police, ambulance and firefighters decals in it. But why?)
So I had to search in my decal-sparebox for some usefull stuff. Find some, but the numbers are a bit too big, about 25% bigger than normal.
But for the rest, it was a nice kit.
I gonna give it to my brother-in-law who was a cook on this vessel. His name is Dave, so it's actualy Dave! Dave! Dave! on Dive! Dive! Dive!

This is one picture of it, there's more in the Dive! Dive! Dive! gallery.

Hope you enjoy and any comment, critics and nitpicks are welcome!

Very nice job. It is a very unique sub. 1/350th must be a tiny sub. What is the overall length of the model? We have quite a few completed models in this campaign. That is a great job by all!

Darryl you did a very good job as campaign leader!

Scott,

Thanks! Yep, 1:350 is small: 100 times smaller than I'm used to build. :-)
The overall length of the model is approximately 23 cm.
And you are right, Darryl did a great job and it was a very nice campaign to join. Darryl, thanks!!
