I have to confess I tried to cheat and track the URL. for image #1 ... and at this moment I read your "Nice try" message!!! :-)

BTW, the horse Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden was riding at the time of his mortal wound at the battle of Lützen was named "Streiff" - but it is not any one of those in your pictures. Streiff was dun-coloured, and died of his wounds soon after the battle, too. It is stuffed is some museum in Stockholm!

It is indeed Herr Mozart. Although he is pictured as composing his last play...Requiem.

Although the picture may not be quite true as studies that have been made seam to agree that Herr Mozart was in good health when composing the finished parts of the Requiem.

Regarding Streiff, I have seen him at the Royal Swedish Armory in the castle in Stockholm, it is also the place where King Karl XII's Uniform, gloves, and tricorn that he wore when he was killed in 1718. Quite a great museum, I have some 200 pictures from this museum that I will upload on a future website of mine

I would also reccomend the movie "Amadeus", great movie about Mozart, although its not very accurate for the most parts, it does have it's brilliant moments.
