dear all, does anybody knows where (and if) i could find some 1/35 world war one guns, like for instance lee enfield early model, springfield, Mannlicher, lebel etc.. so tedious to scratchbuild.. jb
Not so much in 1/35, but if you wanted to go larger you could check out HR Products line. They make all kinds of weapons in 1/32 scale. Scale Link is another option if you decide to go a bit larger.
as I know Sparta-Modellbau has a collection of excellent WWI waepons. They don`t show them in their webshop until today, but I think you can mail them and ask for pictures and the prieces.
deep thanks for the new tips -I never realized that there could be some Springfields in those old italeri sets! As for sparta-modelbau, the answer came swiftly, and they have indeed some fantastic looking machine guns like the Lewis and Chauchat, but sadly no Mannlicher or early Mauser types. This is a bit odd that nobody thought about doing those in 1/35 as i'm pretty sure "they" gave everything they could grab to the Volksturm in 1945, including those. Anyway deep thanks again! jb
