Today I received a letter from Milton Keynes Scale Model Club, asking me to confirm that we will be attending. I have filled out the confirmation slip in the Affirmative and will post it as soon as I can.

To remind you the date of the show "ModelKraft 2007" is Sunday 4th Feb 07.
If you can make it please confirm here

For those that are interested here is a copy of the competition classes:

Great stuff guys, I forgot to say but can you also confirm wether you can bring some models, or not. Not aproblem if you can't I just need to know.

Derek,
Am I correct that you offered some signage on perspex backing for the branch stand? I would like to take you up on it (if it was you )

Great Derek, if the signs can be done in clear perspex I reckon that I may be able to light them

Yep, understood Ross, it is a bit far. Unfortunately Yeovilton is a bit far for me, especially just the week after

Mal

If i get my finger out i may have my 72 scale cat finished - will take up quite a bit of space. Maybe some of Lucianos 144 scales could shelter under the wings :-) :-)

Hope all have a good new year - speak to you when i sober up

Andy I'll be bringing a few 1/144 but you may have to sit under the wing of a 1/144 Tu-95. If only I could finish it in time (very much doubt it)

Well It's only a week away now until Modelfest and i was wondering if there is any additional info we need to know?
Also are we wearing the name badges some of us got at Telford (I unfortunately didn't get one, but I've copied Sam's )

Yes do Andy, sorry for not responding sooner
I don't think that there is any additional info? just bring yourselves and any models that you can. I asked for power, but we won't be able to have the internet on. That is unless one of you has the necessary wireless technology
Yes wear your name badges, I'll bring along those that weren't claimed at Telford. Mine needs re-doing but it shouldn't be too difficult
See you there.

anyone know which model stores will be there? especially hannants
i could do with some decals for my spitfire and i reckon i'm better off phoning an order through (if poss) than trawling through hundreds of those decal books!

List of exhibitors

Hannants are attending but you have to place your collection order with the Collindale Shop as they are the ones attending the show.

Edit: damn derek you always seem to quick off the mark do you just sit at the pc waiting for someone to make a post?.

Unfortunately the colleage with whom I was going to swap my sunday shift had to cancel, so I won't be able to make it this time...
Still, there is next year. As a consolation I will go to a show at Yeovilton the next week-end. Although I'll be attending with some friends from the local MAFVA, once I'm in I'll drop the disguise and pin my Armorama badge on.. :-) . For some reason there seems to be a bias towards airplane models..... .

Have fun in Milton Keynes, and do do anything that I would do. Or would have done in my younger days...

Cheers
Henk
